This one was taken at a rest area in Indiana the same summer.I was looking through my pictures, and I saw one I wanted to add... hope it's ok.

I took this picture last summer in South Dakota at a place called Reptile Gardens. I took it with a plain old point and shoot digital by Kodak.

What a gorgeous shade of red on its head....great shot, I almost used a bird for my theme this week, but changed my mind at the last minute....still working on the new idea..lol

O my gosh! I love them both so much! The red in the middle of the white on the flower is stunning and the colors of the bird's feather is beautiful... Lovely shots! Thanks for sharing them!!!

Thank you... I have another flower shot that was taken at the same time. The whole flower is hat red, but I liked this one better.
